#Award-Winning Blue Period Manga To Get Anime Adaptation

Blue Period, the award-winning painting manga by Tsubasa Yamaguchi, is getting an anime adaptation which will air this year.

Staff and cast details are currently unknown, but a main visual was released.

Blue Period began serialization in 2017 in Kodansha’s Gekkan Afternoon magazine. There are currently eight tankobon volumes, with the ninth volume releasing on January 21. The manga won the Manga Taisho Grand Prize in 2020.

Kodansha describes the manga as:
