«Parasyte -the maxim-» begins mysteriously, full of action and bloody. From this an interesting story develops, which always comes with surprises. New people accompany Shinichi and the further the parasites spread, the more carefully the people around him have to be looked at. The unique combo of Migi, the parasite in Shinichi’s hand and the host himself often impresses with humorous scenes. The serious mood of the anime is loosened up a bit. “Parasyte” also shows that there is no mercy in a world of parasites – and that you cannot always protect people who are close to you.

Even if there are live-action films for «Parasyte», other speakers have been hired for the anime adaptation. The dubbing at Oxygen Sound Studios was directed by René Dawn-Claude. The speakers for the anime have been cast extremely well. Personally, I especially like Cathlen Gawlich as Migi.
