#Love is War OVA Gets New PV, Premieres May 19

The official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of Aka Akasaka’s Kaguya-sama: Love is War (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunōsen) manga posted a new promotional video for the anime’s upcoming OVA. The OVA is set to release on May 19.

The disc includes three episodes named Kaguya-sama Darkness volume 1, Kaguya-sama Darkness volume 2, and Kaguya-sama wa Tabesasetai (“Kaguya wants to eat”). Additionally, the OVA DVD will be bundled with a limited edition of the manga’s 22nd volume.

The first season of Kaguya-sama: Love is War premiered in January 2019 and aired for 12 episodes. Aniplex of America streamed the series on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. The anime’s second season premiered in April 2020. Funimation streamed the anime as it aired and released its English dub. A third season was also recently announced. 

Funimation describes the series as:
