Atou the Sludge is Ready to Serve in New Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra Character Trailer
A new character trailer for the upcoming Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra: World Conquest Starts with the Civilization of Ruin TV anime series, spotlighting Takuto’s close companion Atou the Sludge. The series will begin airing in Japan on July 6, 2025.
Yuji Yanase (For My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord, Himegoto) is directing the anime series, with Yuka Yamada (Nina the Starry Bride) and Kunihiko Okada (The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy) as series screenwriters, and Kaho Deguchi (By the Grace of the Gods main character designer and co-chief animation director) as main character designer and chief animation director. MAHO FILM is handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s previously announced voice cast stars:

- • Tomori Kusunoki as Atou
- • Kikuko Inoue as Isla
- • Rico Sasaki as Emle
- • Shinji Kawada as Gia
- • Tomomichi Nishimura as Moltar
The anime is based on the light novel series, written by Fehu Kazuno and illustrated by Jun. It was first published under Micro Magazine’s GC Novels label on November 30, 2019, with seven volumes being released as of June 2024. An eighth volume is expected to be released on June 30, 2025. The series originally began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel on November 7, 2017.
A manga by Yasaiko Midorihana was launched in March 2020 and is published in English by Yen Press.
Cross Infinite World releases the Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra light novels in English and describes the main synopsis as:
Takuto Ira succumbed to illness at a young age and ended up reincarnating in a world that resembles the fantasy turn-based strategy game Eternal Nations. Not only did he reincarnate into his favorite game, but as the god who commands the evil civilization Mynoghra. With Mynoghra’s beautiful hero unit, Sludge Witch Atou by his side, not even legendarily difficult race traits will stand in the way of restarting their civilization!
