#Armed suspect slashes man, steals his slippers outside Queens deli

A 60-year-old man was slashed and robbed of his slippers in a caught-on-camera fight outside of a Queens deli last month, police said Sunday.

The early morning May 19 feud outside the business at 38-02 31 St. began with an argument over when the deli closed, but quickly devolved when the suspect pulled out a knife, according to cops.

The suspect slashed the man in the head and arm as the victim tried using a stick to defend himself, police said,

During the attack, the suspect stole the man’s slippers, cops said.

The suspect fled after the attack and was still on the loose as of late Sunday.

The victim was hospitalized for treatment of non-life threatening wounds, police said.
