#Any Rapper Challenging 50 Cent In Verzuz May Be SOL

New York, NY – Several rap fans commenting on the upcoming Dipset Verzuz The LOX battle noted that 50 Cent’s G-Unit would also make for an interesting matchup, for their early 00s reign dominated on the charts as well as the streets.

However, those fans should be aware that the man with the authority to push the button on such a match-up is a fairweather fan of the house Timbaland and Swizz Beatz built these days.

On Thursday (July 15), the New York Premiere of his Starz series Power Book III: Raising Kanan at Hammerstein Ballroom brought forth the opportunity to address a potential Verzuz appearance, seeing that T.I. made matters a huge talking point last year.

Seeing that the new series has already been granted a second season, 50 Cent’s focus appeared to be elsewhere when asked about his thoughts on sizing up his hits within the high-profile Triller platform.

“A Verzuz battle?” he pondered. “Probably not! We back outside,” he laughed.

“That was something that happened during the pandemic when we was stuck in the house. Now that we back outside, there’s other things to do. We supposed to be creating new history, not being back there.”

Although many fans have probably lost count on the number of Verzuz battles, the stage has become bigger than ever. The aforementioned Dipset Verzuz The LOX is set for August 3 inside Madison Square Garden’s Hulu’s Theater in the heart of New York City.

Additionally, the introduction of the COVID-19 vaccine hasn’t quelled the rise of coronavirus cases in the United States, with all 50 states reporting noticeable upticks in the past few weeks. Many international nations such as Australia, Uganda and the United Kingdom are enforcing tougher lockdowns yet again.

As for new history, 50 Cent is slated to be a headliner for Rolling Loud NYC in October — but hasn’t released an album since 2015’s The Kanan Tape.
