While the main TV anime story has continued to broadcast well since April, the first episode of “Funbari Onsen Hanjyouki (Prosperity Diary),” a mini-anime series from the Shaman King TV anime, has been posted on YouTube. The anime’s three main voice cast members – Yoko Hikasa (Yoh Asakura), Inuko Inuyama (Manta Odayama), and Megumi Hayashibara (Anna Kyoyama) voice their characters in chibi-form.

In the first episode, Anna decides to open “Funbari Onsen General Leisure Land” instead of the current inn. She says to Yoh, “Even if you become the Shaman King, it doesn’t mean you’ll make any money.” So, while fighting to become the Shaman King, Yoh and Manta will also have to train to become employees of the hot spring leisure land. Will her plan succeed?

The reboot TV anime based on Hiroyuki Takei’s Shaman King manga premiered in Japan and Netflix Japan on April 1, 2021, and is set to be streamed worldwide on Netflix on August 9, 2021.
