Eugene, OR – Rumors of an Outkast reunion seem to crop up every couple of years, and speculation was reignited on social media over the weekend after André 3000 and Big Boi were seen hanging out together at a college football game.

The legendary Atlanta duo attended a game at the University of Oregon on Saturday night (September 25) as the Oregon Ducks took on the Arizona Wildcats at the Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon.

3 Stacks and Daddy Fat Stacks were in full rap dad mode as they cheered on Big Boi’s son, Cross Patton, who plays as a running back for the University of Oregon. André 3000’s eldest son, Seven, was also in tow and was joined by a female friend.

Outkast were spotted in the stands by an Oregon Ducks fans, who posted a selfie with the Grammy-winning duo along with the caption, “Coolest Duck game ever.”

After the game, Big Boi celebrated the Oregon Ducks’ 41-19 victory by posting a video with André 3000 on Instagram. “Say mane, where we at, mane?” he asks, to which his partner-in-rhyme responds, “At this game,” while putting his deuces up.

Big Sean was among the hoard of followers who flooded Big Boi’s comments section with excitement over watching the ATLiens hanging out. “Man we would love some new OutKast, Love IT!” he wrote.

Sean wasn’t alone; several fans on Twitter reacted to Outkast’s rare sighting by fuelling rumors of a reunion between the legendary duo, whose last album Idlewild arrived in 2006.

Veteran Hip Hop executive Riggs Morales joked, “I need Oregon’s Cross Patton to A&R this final OutKast album.. he’s the only one..” while another fan tweeted, “Look if an Oregon national championship is what it takes to get us a new Outkast record then so be it.”

Despite the excitement over André 3000 and Big Boi’s Oregon meet-up, fans probably shouldn’t get their hopes up for an Outkast reunion. In a 2017 interview with Complex, 3 Stacks was quoted as saying, “If [Outkast] never do another album, I’m totally fine with that.”

Previously, he admitted to feeling like a “sell-out” during the group’s reunion tour in 2014.

Nevertheless, watching André 3000 and Big Boi enjoying each other’s company is enough to bring a smile to any Outkast fan’s face.
