The video follows the release of previous singles “juno” and “reverie” from earlier this year.
After dropping the track last week, London-based singer-songwriter anaiis shared the trippy visuals for her latest single “chuu” alongside Topaz Jones on Friday. Directed by Jenny Brough, the dream-like clip finds both artists on an Alice in Wonderland-esque journey through a number of surreal scenes.
“We decided to visualize them through a dream sequence film. It was in part inspired by the magical-realist set designs of Alejandro Jodorowski and was created to ridicule the absurdities often witnessed in the music industry, which reflected some of my own challenges within it,” Brough said of the video.
