Mobile Suit Gundam 00 is making a return with a new CG anime titled Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Revealed Chronicle. The anime was announced at the Gundam Figures Live!!! event on March 17 with the Gundam Devise Exia Metal Build figure.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Revealed Chronicle will center on the Double Drive technology and the “missing link” between Double Drive and the GN Drive. The returning cast includes Mamoru Miyano as Setsuna F. Seiei, Shinichiro Miki as Lockon Stratos, Hideyuki Umezu as Ian Vashti, Arisa Ogasawara as Haro, and Tooru Furuya as the narrator.

Meanwhile, the returning staff from the 2007 series and its 2008 second season includes Seiji Mizushima as director, Yousuke Kuruda as series composer, Yun Kouga as character designer, Kanetake Ebikawa and Takayuki Yanase as mechanical designers, and Tomohiro Chiba as science fiction researcher.

The year is 2307 A.D. Although fossil fuels have been depleted, humanity has obtained a new source of energy to replace them, in the form of a large-scale solar power generation system based on three huge orbital elevators. However, the benefits of this system are available only to a handful of major powers and their allies. In this world of never-ending conflict, a private armed organization appears, dedicated to the elimination of war through armed force. Its name is Celestial Being, and it is in possession of “Gundam” mobile suits.
