#Anohana Film Plans 10th Anniversary Screening Event on June 23

To commemorate the tenth-anniversary of the Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day franchise, a screening event of its anime feature film Anohana the Movie: The Flower We Saw That Day is set to be held at the Shinjuku Wald 9 theater in Tokyo on June 23, 2021, just ten years after the broadcast of the TV anime’s last 11th episode in Japan.

In addition, a talk show with the film’s director Tatsuyuki Nagai, and Takayuki Kondo, the voice of Tetsudo “Poppo” Hisakawa, will be held on the stage. The event’s 2,000-yen ticket with a limited postcard will be available on the online ticket reservation service KINEZO from 24:00 on June 18 (JST). If there are remaining seats in the online reservation, the tickets will be also sold at the theater from June 19.

The 99-minute film was released in Japan on August 31, 2013, and earned 1.04 billion yen (9.5 million USD) from its domestic run.
