#Dylan and Cole Sprouse Once Brushed Off Matt Damon During ‘The Suite Life’ Set Visit

Most people likely wouldn’t brush off Matt Damon if they got the chance to meet him, but Dylan and Cole Sprouse can’t say the same.

The Riverdale alum recalled on Tuesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa that the twin brothers’ had such an obsession with the World of Warcraft video game when they were younger that they didn’t want anyone interrupting them, not even an Oscar winner.

Cole explained how they were playing the video game during set school one day when one of the production assistants notified them that Damon and his children were huge fans of their Disney Channel show The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and wanted to stop by.

“I remember Dylan and I turning to each other and just going, ‘Ugh. I can’t believe we have to get off a World of Warcraft right now,’” he said with a laugh, noting that they were around 15 years old at the time.

However, once the Oppenheimer star arrived, Cole recalled every crew member standing in the hallway “just looking and amazed at Matt Damon,” while he and Dylan never even took their eyes off the screen to introduce themselves.

“This was how ridiculous we were as children,” the Lisa Frankenstein actor said. “I think he came in and was like, ‘Hey guys. Wow, so nice to meet you,’ and we were like, ‘Yeah, yeah. Hey man. Hey, how you doing?’ and just went right back to the game.”

He added, “We were just being kids and playing video games, and I’m sure if I ever meet Matt Damon again, I’m just gonna say ‘I’m sorry’ and it’ll be all good.”

Dylan and Cole starred in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody for three seasons from 2005 to 2008, alongside Ashley Tisdale and Brenda Song. They later led the spin-off The Suite Life on Deck with Song and Debby Ryan for three additional seasons before it ended in 2011.
