Ichigo Hoshimiya, the protagonist of the first half of the idol-themed TV anime Aikatsu!, has been appointed as the cheering ambassador for the upcoming original anime feature film Hula Fulla Dance.

Hula Fula Dance has many staff members who previously worked on the Aikatsu! series: the character designer Hiroko Yaguchi, the general director Seiji Mizushima, director Shinya Watada, the color designer Masumi Otsuka, the director of photography Yoichi Ookami, teh editor Kumiko Sakamoto, and the production company BN Pictures. This collaboration came about because of the deep connection between the two works.

A special collaboration illustration featuring Ichigo and Hiwa Natsunagi, the protagonist of Hula Fuula Dance, shoulder to shoulder in an “aloha” pose, newly drawn by Yaguchi, has also been released.
