“Accused Colorado gunman Anderson Aldrich’s mom Laura Voepel had run-ins with law”

The mother of accused Colorado Springs mass shooter Anderson Lee Aldrich also has had previous run-ins with the law – including involving three outstanding warrants for her arrest in California.

Laura Voepel, 45, was busted in 2008 for false reporting, in 2010 for speeding and failure to appear in court and in 2011 for driving under the influence in the Golden State, the Gazette reported.

In 2008, she also was arrested in Riverside for public intoxication and failure to appear. It’s not clear if that bust was tied to the false reporting.

Details and the disposition of the cases were not immediately known. The intoxication case was reportedly closed.

In 2013, Voepel was sentenced to five years of probation in a case, but it’s not clear what the incident involved. She did not complete the terms that were set to expire in 2018, according to the paper.

“At the end of the day, the district attorney made an offer of criminal mischief and probation,” her attorney James Oltersdorf said, according to the paper.

Voepel also had an arson count reduced to a lesser charge in San Antonio, Texas, according to the outlet.

Aldrich, 22, is expected to face five murder charges and five counts of committing a bias-motivated crime causing bodily injury in connection with Saturday night’s shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs, where five people were killed and dozens wounded.

The Colorado Distict Attorney had not officially brought charges Tuesday morning, saying they are making sure they have enough evidence before they file them.

Last year, he was arrested for allegedly making a bomb threat against his mom, who reported him for “threatening to cause harm to her with a homemade bomb, multiple weapons, and ammunition,” police said.

No formal charges were pursued in the case, which has been sealed.

Voepel is the daughter of California state Assemblyman Randy Voepel, who has not responded to The Post for comment.
