The design of the limited box for the “Made in Abyss” film trilogy has been revealed!

Last month we reported that the release date of the “Made in Abyss” film box was known. Now the responsible publisher has LEONINE Anime also revealed the design of the disc release. You can see it below.

The film trilogy will be released on 30. April 2021 when Limited Collector’s Edition on DVD and Blu-ray. On the one hand, the box contains the film “Souls of Darkness”, which continues the storyline of the series. There are also two compilation movies “The journey starts” and «Companions of the Dawn» at, which are a summary of the anime series. As a physical extra there is an approx. 40-page special booklet at.

“Made in Abyss” is originally a manga series by Akihito Tsukushi, which has been published since 2012. In 2017 the studio adapted it as an anime series Kinema Citrus. The sequel was made with the same production team last year.

LEONINE Anime brought “Made in Abyss: Souls of Darkness” to numerous German cinemas in September 2020. The anime series appeared two years earlier with the same publisher completely on DVD and Blu-ray.
