Atlanta, GA – Omeretta The Great’s “Sorry Not Sorry” track has stirred up a fervent debate amongst Atlanta natives thanks to her bold claims about what is and isn’t the real A-Town. Fellow ATLien Latto waded into the debate when she jumped on the remix and challenged Omerta’s claims, sticking up for so-called out-of-towners who claim the A as their own.

“So Migos is not Atlanta? (Huh?)/21 is not Atlanta? (What?)/Ciara is not Atlanta? (The fuck?)/Ludacris is not Atlanta? (Trippin’)/Man, ClayCo made Atlanta (ClayCo)/Decatur made Atlanta (On God)/Rap game tried to play Atlanta (What?)/Outkast came and saved Atlanta/On God,” Big Latto raps.

Although Latto clarified that her shoutouts were not disses, Ludacris had something to say about all the commotion surrounding his name being mentioned on the remix. On Saturday (March 26), the DTP legend dropped a response track over the “Sorry Not Sorry” instrumental, reminding Latto and Omeretta that he’s “so Atlanta.”

“I was born in Illinois/Mama making hella noise/’Cause a star was born and I’ll take this as Omeretta gave him credit for it/’Cause early I moved to College Park, got rich like Ludacris hit the lotto/I spent so much time in Magic City ‘Every day I’m so Atlanta’ was always my motto,” Luda raps.

“I pop Atlanta, won’t let nobody mock Atlanta/I brought millions of dollars to the city/Now the whole world jack Atlanta/I was wondering if this was propaganda/To get more juice than Tropicana/Overheard this song, I was shooting a movie, I told them to stop the camera/To say, no matter what block Atlanta/No city can opp Atlanta/Ever since the South had something to say, nobody can stop Atlanta/They won’t top Atlanta/We don’t knock Atlanta/We got proper manners/But the whole world know we’ll cock a hammer.”

He adds before dropping the mic, “And no matter who don’t like it, haters I’m home/Heard my name and had to address this/Thank you ladies, I’m gone, Luda!”

Ludacris’ response got a ton of support from his peers who expressed their approval in the comments section of his Instagram post, including Outkast legend and Atlanta native Big Boi, DJ Drama, Kevin Hart and Chingy.

The “Stand Up” rapper isn’t the only Atlanta rap legend to have weighed in on the “Sorry Not Sorry” debate surrounding the city, though. T.I. took to Instagram in February with a map of Atlanta and the six different zones that make up the entire area.

According to the Grand Hustle general, “fools” have no say in the city. “Respectfully…. Only fools dispute facts. #ToWhomItMayConcern,” he in the caption of his post.
