The duo releases a “Chrome edition” of their 2020 album this week.
Chloe x Halle have shared the music video for their song “Ungodly Hour.” The video was debuted on Wedneday night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and shows the Bailey sisters going underwater for a sci-fi-style visual filled with choreography and elaborate adventures at the bottom of the ocean. “Ungodly Hour” is taken from the 2020 album of the same name. A new version of the album, dubbed the “Chrome edition,” will be released on Friday, February 26. The album will also be available on vinyl for the first time from that date.
Since dropping Ungodly Hour Chloe x Halle have performed at the MTV VMAs, collaborated with Doja Cat, Mulatto, and City Girls, and recorded an NPR Tiny Desk concert from home. Halle Bailey will next be seen in Disney’s upcoming remake of The Little Mermaid in which she will play Ariel.
