#Fantasy football: If you must draft a kicker, here’s the correct strategy

Fantasy football kickers are hard to forecast, tricky to predict from week to week and are seeing fewer and fewer leagues that utilize them.

Take a hint kickers! The fantasy community doesn’t care about you. Oh! I just found an old Reese’s Piece in my pocket. That is more exciting than fantasy kickers.

So let the Madman save you some time. First, find a league that doesn’t use kickers. If you are unable to do so and are trapped in a league that uses kickers, then in the penultimate round of the draft, check to see if Justin Tucker is available. If he is, go ahead and grab him and leave the final round for your defense/special teams.

If Tucker isn’t available, take the best D/ST option then pick whatever kicker in the final round. We would offer you advice to which, but who cares, really? It doesn’t matter. The variance in scoring from the best to the best available on waivers is not enough to cause worry.

Just pick one. And feel free to toggle from week to week, streaming the position until you find a guy who has good accuracy, a decent leg, and plays on a team that has trouble scoring touchdowns.
