“#Rapper Dupree G.O.D. posted multiple videos with flamethrower”
Dupree G.O.D. posted videos on Twitter with his flamethrower, including one on Nov. 3 showing him chasing his pals with the dangerous — but legal — device on a rooftop.
“Me and my boys are playing Spin Da Bottle !!!” he captioned the clip. “Flame thrower edition.”
About a month earlier, the rapper recorded a gag of himself trying to spray a woman dressed as a cockroach with bug spray.
“N–a, you know that s–t don’t work!” she yells at him, before the scene switches to outside showing Dupree G.O.D. shooting the flamethrower at the human roach as she scurries along Nostrand Avenue.
Police are investigating the Nov. 8 stunt in which the Brooklyn-born artist allegedly climbed on top of the bus and unleashed the flamethrower into the sky as onlookers cheered him on in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The fiery feat was part of a Wu-Tang tribute music video, which Dupree G.O.D. described as “f–king epic” on his now-private Instagram.
On his website, the alleged pyromaniac says his “humbling beginnings” in Kings County prepared him for his “now rapidly growing career in Hip-Hop music.”
After launching his rap career in 2009, Dupree G.O.D. says he landed a gig in a McDonald’s commercial for its dollar breakfast menu.
Dupree G.O.D., who could ultimately face charges of reckless endangerment, could not be reached for comment.
Flamethrowers are currently legal in New York, though there’s a pending bill in the state Senate to make possession of one a felony.
