Everyone watching 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way understands that Jihoon is kind of a dead beat. He’s basically coin-operated, doing the absolute minimum until he’s pushed into a decision or an action. He’s neither proactive nor ambitious; it is what it is. That does not excuse, however, the way Deavan is acting.

Furthermore, Deavan is quickly becoming unbearable for fans of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. She isn’t quite Baby Girl Visa or Darcey, but it’s getting close. Let’s break down why she is easily the least likable person this season.

Breaking down why Deavan is already unbearable on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way

First and foremost, could she please quit with the perpetual RBF? We get it, Jihoon’s kind of a pansy, completely unmotivated, and isn’t the perfect guy.

Guess what sweetheart? It takes two to tango, and he wasn’t with you when you decided to name your firstborn after one of the ugly stepsisters from Cinderella, now was he? Point being, multiple things point to your poor decision making, and if you’re even remotely happy, tell your face.

Up next, couldn’t she have at least pre-gamed ever so slightly with her mother before going to Korea? Maybe start with the fact they’re a little more reserved, drive completely different, and aren’t accustomed to a grandmother dropping F-bombs like a sailor.

It’s one thing that Jihoon’s parents don’t understand the vulgarities, but the grandkids are obviously listening. Could she try a little harder to be the ugly American stereotype, please?

Most importantly, could she have even the remotest sense of understanding or appreciation of South Korea and it’s beautiful culture? South Korea essentially has the landmass of Kentucky, and the population of Texas and Florida combined; so, perhaps she could open her mind and be slightly more appreciative of the narrower streets and vertical construction requirements.

Speaking of construction, she should shoulder the blame for the shabby apartment. She set it up, and it’s not all that abnormal as far as Korean apartments go. What apartment doesn’t look better online than in person? This isn’t MTV Cribs; it’s 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. Besides, she should count her lucky stars for her apartment in South Korea, because Ariela’s Ethiopian crib is several orders of magnitude worse.
