Berners-Lee invented the web while at CERN in 1989. Amongst other roles, he’s also co-founder and CTO of Inrupt, which is striving to reset the balance of power on the web and reignite its true potential with the use of a technically powerful open-source platform called Solid.

At TNW 2022 Conference, Berners-Lee will be joined by John Bruce — Inrupt’s CEO & co-founder —to dive into how they are developing a new future for the web.

Ever wondered how artists actually make money in the crypto-economy? This talk is for you. 

De Leeuw is a well-established artist who works under the alias JDL Street Art. She creates eye-catching, large-scale murals worldwide to draw attention to social issues, such as LGBTQ+ rights, survivors of war, and the environment.

She’s also worked in collaboration with companies like Meta and not-for-profit organizations like WWF and the United Nations. 

In 2021, JDL’s work was sold for a record of €2.9 million in cryptocurrency, of which she donated one million to charity.

At SHIFT, we’re huge fans of digital twin technology, especially in the industrial space and smart city applications. But how do we accelerate the technology’s capabilities?

Anandita Punj is a Service Designer at INFO, where she uses design as a research tool to identify and solve complex problems.

During her talk, she’ll be sharing the stage with Ard van de Kreeke, founder of vertical farm Growy, to deep dive into the challenges and opportunities of how the company has created a digital twin of their farm to improve plant health, yield, and profitability.
