OMAAR is the moniker of Mexico City producer Omar Suárez. Drum Temple, his debut full-length album. Throughout, he fuses a wide array of club sounds like UK funky, gqom, techno, and dembow.

Andy Stott: Never the Right Time [Modern Love]

Never the Right Time is English producer Andy Stott’s full-length follow-up to 2019’s It Should Be Us. Although he had nearly completed the nine-track project early last year, the release was delayed by a few months, with Stott citing “personal upheaval” as the cause.

Cory Hanson: Pale Horse Rider [Drag City]

Cory Hanson released his debut solo album, The Unborn Capitalist From Limbo, in 2016; since then, he’s been busy with his main band Wand, who released two full-length records and an EP in that time. With his second solo record, Pale Horse Rider, Hanson continues to make lightly psychedelic, country-inclined tunes.

Cannibal Corpse: Violence Unimagined [Metal Blade]

Violence Unimagined is the 15th album from long-running death metal outfit Cannibal Corpse, arriving nearly four years after its 2017 predecessor Red Before Black. As promised in the title, the band returns to its preferred well of gore and bloodshed, with Hate Eternal’s Erik Rutan replacing former member Pat O’Brien as the ensemble’s guitarist.
