The 100 Season 7, Episode 4 left us with these major questions

For the first time in the season, The 100 took us through two stories at the same time. We focused on Echo, Gabriel, and Hope throughout five years on Planet Beta, while Clarke learned the truth about her friends on Sanctum.

We got to see five years pass by in the blink of an eye. Within that time, Sanctum went barely a few hours, as Clarke figured out what to do next to save her friends. Of course, everything she did was wrong, leading to more trouble.

Here are the big questions after watching The 100 Season 7, Episode 4.

Will Raven be able to focus?

Raven is having a hard time, blaming herself for sending people to their deaths. It was certainly a hard choice, but I don’t really see what other choice she had. There weren’t enough people with Nightblood to withstand the radiation, and we saw that Emori suffered badly regardless of her blood.

So, she needs to push forward and work through her guilt. Out of all the people, Clarke will understand that guilt. She also knows how to push forward and try to keep the guilt at bay. Will Raven be willing enough to listen and accept that sometimes Clarke had no choice in her actions?

What will happen to Sanctum while Clarke and everyone are gone?

We saw Gaia fight back the person who knocked her out and fight back, but she was taken through a bridge. Clarke and the others went through their bridge. Now it’s left the whole of Sanctum to fight amongst themselves.

Sanctum is a very problematic place right now. Sheidheda is controlling Russell and the people are out for blood—all different types of blood. Without Clarke, they can certainly get into plenty of trouble now. Will there be anything for anyone to come back to?

Where have Clarke and co. ended up?

Clarke, Raven, and others headed to a planet on the system. Raven just had to choose based on symbols, and she ended up picking an icy planet. It’s clearly not where Echo and the others have gone, so now they’re going to have to figure out a way back.

The problem is they need an anomaly key. So, that means wandering this icy wasteland and hope that they can survive. Things aren’t looking good.

Then there’s Gaia, who was pulled into the anomaly. I’m guessing she’s been taken to wherever Echo and the others are.

What will Orlando do next?

It was clear that Echo, Hope, and Gabriel would never be able to not kill the people who came through the bridge. Knowing Echo’s life was in danger, Hope had to kill to save Echo. Orlando wasn’t happy about that, but Echo went one step further, killing all of them.

It’s clear that Orlando knew all of those who had died. Now he’s left on Beta alone with the dead. We’ve seen him suffer from isolation madness before. What will happen now after the death of people he knew?

What will Echo and the others face?

Echo, Hope, and Gabriel suited up and walked through the bridge. Now what? What will they face on the other side?

My guess is that there are soldiers on the other side waiting for Orlando to be brought back across. Will Echo and the others become captives? We get a glimpse of what Octavia has faced while being a prisoner on the other side of the bridge in the promo for the next episode. What about Bellamy and Diyoza? What exactly will the others face?
