On consecutive plays, San Francisco lost two key defensive players: Defensive end Nick Bosa and defensive lineman Solomon Thomas. Both were carted off the field. The 49ers were already without defensive end Dee Ford, cornerback Richard Sherman and tight end George Kittle due to injury.
