The Detroit rapper spent time the day before his birthday on Wednesday (November 24) with the Pure Heart Foundation to donate 90 turkeys to families at Pure Heart’s annual turkey giveaway event. The “We Paid” star ventured to Detroit’s east side to give turkeys to 100 deserving families.
The giveaway benefitted children whose parents are currently incarcerated.
“I know this is a tough time for kids, I just want to be a helping hand where ever I can,” the Detroit native told local affiliate Fox 2.
To top it off, Dugg treated the children to a shopping spree.

“We understand that the holiday is a hard time because normally people have family to spend with them,” Bianca White of Pure Heart Foundation said. “Most of our scholars don’t, so we want to be able to love on them.”
Dugg’s good deed comes as Hip Hop gives back for the holidays. Fat Joe made certain to give back to his Bronx community and Fivio Foreign echoed Dugg’s sentiments by assisting children who have incarcerated parents.
