As reported, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Bushiroad’s mobile rhythm game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!, the two-episode special anime BanG Dream!5th Anniversary Animation -CiRCLE THANKS PARTY!- will be aired and streamed simultaneously at 23:00 on March 10 and 17 (JST). A trailer for its first episodes featuring 35 members of the seven bands – Poppin’Party, Roselia, Afterglow, Pastel＊Palettes, Hello, Happy World!, Morfonica, and RAISE A SUILEN – is now streamed on the franchise’s official YouTube channel.
The story of the special anime centers on “CiRCLE THANKS PARTY!,” an event to thank the fans who have supported the bands since the days of the live house CiRCLE. The 35 members scramble to prepare for the event, which will include food stands and live performances. And then, Kasumi and the others decide to perform a new song together at the live…
In addition, the BanG Dream! franchise itself is celebrating its seventh anniversary today, February 28. To commemorate the memorial day, the franchise’s official Twitter has been posting commemorative illustrations drawn by various people.
