#2.5 Dimensional Seduction Will Stream on HIDIVE This Summer

HIDIVE has announced the addition of the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction anime adaptation to its Summer 2024 anime lineup, which currently includes titles like It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? V, OSHI NO KO Season 2, Plus-Sized Elf, and I Parry Everything!

It also revealed that before the show’s streaming debut, there will be a screening of its first episode at Anime Expo 2024 on July 4. The screening will take place at 403 AB, situated on the Level 2 Concourse of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

2.5 Dimensional Seduction will premiere in Japan on July 5 JST. The anime adapts the cosplay-themed romantic comedy manga by Yu Hashimoto, which has been serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ since 2019. The 20th tankoubon volume will be released on July 4 JST.

Seven Seas Entertainment describes the manga as: 

“I have no interest in real girls!” So claims Okumura, the president of the school’s manga club. He’s your typical otaku, obsessed with a sexy (fictional) 2D manga character known as Liliel. Then the new school year starts, and a (real!) 3D girl named Lilysa whose passion is cosplay joins the club. Lilysa convinces Okumura to become her photographer–and guess who her favorite manga character is? Not only that, but Lilysa is into modeling the fetishy stuff! The boundaries between 2D and 3D start to blur as this hot-blooded romantic comedy unfolds.
