#Giants vs. Cowboys prediction, line: Big Blue will cover

The Wildcat returns for his 24th season in The Post. Including the 1997-2019 seasons in the Bettor’s Guide, Cat’s record in print stands at 636-537 (54.2 percent) against the spread. (Home team in CAPS)

New York Giants (+8.5) over DALLAS COWBOYS

Big Blue have exceeded expectations for a while when cast in the road-underdog role, especially when granted such generous head starts as this. The clash’s game-within-a-game gains added gloss when you note that former long-term Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett returns to Jerry World as the Giants’ first-year offensive coordinator. Garrett’s knowledge of meaningful Dallas personnel vulnerabilities helps. If New York QB Daniel Jones can minimize turnovers … Giants perk up, for one unit.

Philadelphia Eagles (+7) over PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Pittsburgh got a bye it didn’t originally anticipate last week, thanks to Tennessee’s sustained COVID-19 issues. Steelers haven’t drilled anyone, but they’re undefeated, in large part thanks to Ben Roethlisberger’s productive return to health. Philly has gotten off to a slow start with unfavorable injury luck, but Carson Wentz came up big at San Francisco last week and will be up for this cross-conference, in-state rivalry. Eagles keep it up, for one unit.

Last week: 0-2. Bears (L), Dolphins (L).
2020 season: 2-6
