LEONINE Anime has revealed the first details about the disc release of “Violet Evergarden: The Film”! There is also a German trailer to see.

After the original German theatrical release of “Violet Evergarden: The Film” had to be postponed due to the pandemic, the time has come soon: From 29. June 2021 will be the film as part of the KAZÉ Anime Nights with German synchronization shown in selected cinemas. A Kinoliste, which is constantly updated, you can find here.

But also to the upcoming Disc publishing LEONINE Anime has now revealed further details. So the movie is expected to be on January 14, 2022 as Special Edition on DVD, Blu-ray and UHD Blu-ray appear. You can see the cover design and a German trailer for the film below. However, further details on the disc equipment are not yet known. A pre-order is already in the LEONINE Anime Shop possible.

The film represents one Continuation of the anime series and was created again in the studio Kyōto Animation directed by Taichi Ishidate. The 140-minute film premiered in Japan in September 2020.
